We value your and your child’s privacy. This policy explains how this app handles data related to handwriting practice and learning.
Local Data Storage

Content such as practice workbooks, practice records, and writing preferences are saved locally on your device by default. You can use most features without registering an account.

Anonymous Usage Statistics

When you are not logged in, the app uploads limited anonymous statistical information to our servers, including:

  • Workbook identifier
  • Practice duration
  • Subscription status (whether you are a subscribed user)
  • Subscription type (e.g., Free, Monthly Subscription, etc.)

This information does not include:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Unique device identifier
  • Specific practice content
  • Chinese character handwriting/stroke data

Server data is aggregated solely by date and cannot be used to identify individuals.

These anonymous statistics are used exclusively to:

  • Improve product experience
  • Optimize courses and content
  • Understand feature usage
  • Ensure stable app operation

This data will not be used for advertising or personalized marketing.

Cloud Sync

When parents voluntarily register and log in to an account, practice workbooks and records can be synced to the cloud to support:

  • Multi-device synchronization
  • Data recovery
  • Seamless continuation when switching devices

Account information (such as email) is used solely for authentication, login, and data synchronization. We will never sell or share it with third-party advertising platforms.

Third-Party Services
  • We do not integrate third-party advertising SDKs.
  • We do not share children’s handwriting, practice content, or learning records with ad networks or data brokers.
  • If essential infrastructure services (e.g., payment, cloud storage, or crash diagnostics) are integrated in the future, we will ensure they process data strictly within the scope necessary to provide those features.
System Speech Recognition (Voice Character Search)

This app offers an optional “search by voice” feature. After you (or your child) tap the microphone, spoken Mandarin may be converted to text so you can find Chinese characters to practice.

How recognition works: The app uses the device operating system’s speech recognition (e.g., Apple or Google system services). We do not operate our own cloud speech-recognition service and do not upload recordings to our own recognition servers.

Permissions: Microphone and speech-recognition access may be requested only when you use this feature. Declining does not block typing characters or using pinyin filters.

Recordings and results: The app does not store audio recordings. Recognized text is used for the current in-app search only and is not uploaded for advertising or profiling.

Whether audio leaves the device: Audio may be processed according to the OS vendor’s policy and settings (for example, network vs on-device recognition). Please refer to your device system documentation.

Handwriting: Stroke practice and stroke-order judgment remain on-device. Voice search does not cause handwriting data to be sent to third-party AI models.

Parents can revoke microphone / speech-recognition permissions for this app in system settings at any time.

Children’s Privacy
  • This app is designed for children’s learning scenarios.
  • We minimize data collection and collect only what is strictly necessary to maintain core functionality.
  • Parents can delete in-app data or disable cloud sync at any time.
